September 6, 2014 Langhorne, PA Competing in the Cairn University Highlander XC 6K Invitational which is the host site of the 2014 CSAC XC Championship later this season on November 1, junior Falcon runner, Brittany Cunfer (Summit Hill, PA/Panther Valley), again found herself among the leaders with a 15th place finish out of 163 participants representing 18 institutions. What makes the performance even more amazing was that the weather conditions were unbearable for runners and spectators. When the gun sounded at eleven o'clock, the temperature was 87 degrees, on its way to 92, with a humidity level that was stifling, to say the least.
