Dr. Allen G. Snook Jr. has been announced the Director of Athletics, Wellness and Recreation in Feb. of 15 at Cedar crest College. Dr. Snook is a native of Easton, PA and has been serving as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Director of Sports Medicine and the Director of the Falcon Club at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC. Serving in these capacities over the years his primary roles have been promoting student athlete welfare and developing and implementing major departmental policies targeting the enhancement of the overall student athlete experience. Notwithstanding these primary responsibilities, he has been directly involved in all facets of athletic administration: budgeting, hiring, compliance, event management, programmatic enhancement, academic improvement, initiating new athletic programs, mentoring coaches and other staff, fundraising, event management and so on. Through his administrative team's efforts, Pfeiffer significantly increased the collaborative spirit between the athletic department, faculty, staff and community, improved departmental effectiveness and performance, and significantly enhanced the student athlete experience.
