Allentown, PA - Cedar Crest's cross country team celebrated the Athletic Department's "Think Pink Day" by participating in the annual Women's 5K Classic, held in Allentown's beautiful Little Lehigh Parkway. The race, now in its 20th year, is the largest all-female timed event in Pennsylvania and one of the largest in the country, and this year's field of over 5500 entrants is expected to set records for both size and funds raised. Thanks to the event, over $200,000 will go to fund grants and programs that benefit female cancer research and education in the Lehigh Valley.
